【About the Lecturer】

Abraham Cooper

Abraham Cooper is Associate Dean and Director of Global Social Action for the Simon Wiesenthal Center, a leading Jewish human rights organization. Rabbi Cooper has been a longtime activist for Jewish and human rights causes on five continents. He is an acknowledged expert on online hate and terrorism. He has met with heads of state, including US presidents, and religious leaders including the Pope and Muslim leaders, and representatives of human rights NGOs. Rabbi Cooper testified before the US Congress, the European Parliament and the UN Human Rights Committee. He has been ranked by Newsweek among the 50 most influential rabbis in America. In 2023, Rabbi Cooper was appointed Chair of the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom, which monitors violations of religious freedom worldwide.
