On June 4, 2023, the Institute for Global Governance Research (GGR) held the 2nd Zoom meeting as part of the GGR Intensive Seminar entitled “Countering Disinformation and Protecting Democracy” held in February of the same year. The seminar participants are preparing papers on countering disinformation, drawing on what they learned from the seminar. In this meeting, the participants discussed a draft paper on countermeasures against vaccine disinformation. Seven participants of the seminar, Professor Maiko Ichihara (GGR Researcher and Professor of the Graduate School of Law and the School of International and Public Policy), and 2 GGR Research Assistants attended the meeting and exchanged their opinions on the draft elaboration.
