On October 18, 2025, the Institute for Global Governance Research (GGR) held the 21st Zoom meeting as part of the follow-up sessions of the GGR Intensive Seminars, “Countering Disinformation and Protecting Democracy.” To deepen their understanding of the relationship between disinformation and narratives, the participants conducted a reading session on scholarly works addressing narratives and counternarratives. The discussion was lively, covering theoretical perspectives such as the relationship between master narratives and counternarratives, and narrative contestation. GGR will continue to hold regular meetings in preparation for the publication of papers on disinformation.
