About the speaker:
Kazushi Minami is Associate Professor at the Osaka School of International Public Policy, Osaka University. He received a Ph.D. in history from the University of Texas at Austin in 2019. His first book, People’s Diplomacy: How Amricans and Chinese Transformed US-China Relations during the Cold War, was published by Cornell University Press in 2024. His articles have also appeared in Diplomatic History, the Journal of Cold War Studies, Cold War History, and the Journal of Womens’ History.
