About the speaker:

Goro Fujita is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Political Science and Economics, Waseda University. He obtained his Ph. D. degree at Waseda University in 2022. His research interests include Japan’s political and diplomatic history and international history. His recent publication is ‘Reconsidering the Ashida memorandum: the relations between the emergency stationing plan and police reform’, International Relations of the Asia-Pacific, 24(2), 2024.
