About the speaker: Sergio E. Zanotto is a computational social scientist whose research focuses on the linguistic characterization of populist communication. He is currently finishing his PhD at the Graduate School of Social and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Konstanz, Germany. He is affiliated with the Department of Linguistics and the Cluster of Excellence “The Politics of Inequality”, where he is an independent doctoral fellow. Beyond his doctoral research, he has contributed to projects on inequality categorization through survey data, bias in large language models, and the detection of machine-generated texts.
