In February 2025, Summary of roundtable discussion “Prologue to the Publication of History of International Politics [New Edition] (No. 1, 2 and 3),” between Professor Toshihiko Aono (Graduate School of Law, Hitotsubashi University ), Professor Hiroyuki Ogawa (Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, University of Tokyo), and Professor Takumi Itabashi (Graduate Schools for Law and Politics, University of Tokyo), has been published by Yuhikaku Book Editing Second Department on the Note website. Professor Aono commented that he updated the end of the Cold War, and the perspective of the “New Cold War” was reviewed in the new edition. He also notes the added supplemental chapter (trends for 2018 and after) on the possibility that the trend of the U.S. not managing globalization will continue in the future.
