In November 2024, The Pacific Review published a co-authored article titled “Refugee Protection and the Role of Civil Society: A Comparative Study of Japan and South Korea” by Dr. Choi Won Geun (Assistant Prof., Department of Political Science, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies), and Ms. Jeong Minhee, a doctoral student at the Graduate School of Law, Hitotsubashi University. This study compares refugee protection in Japan and South Korea, examining the role of civil society in shaping refugee policies.
