lecturer introduction:

Marius Pedersen is a researcher at the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment. His academic background is in International Relations and Security Studies. At the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment, he researches the impacts of climate change on security, with a particular focus on the Arctic region and NATO. His research focuses on how climate change and security trends change the security landscape surrounding Norway and NATO, and how they should adapt to these trends.
