【About the Lecturer】

Jun Honna

Jun Honna is a professor at College of International Relations in Ritsumeikan University. He received PhD from the Australian National University. His research mainly focuses on politics in Indonesia, and non-traditional security issues in Southeast Asia. Honna’s publications include: Health Security in Indonesia and Normalization of Military’s Non-Defense Role (ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute, September 2022); “The Politics of Securing Khaki Capitalism in Democratizing Indonesia,” in Paul Chambers and Napisa Waitoolkiat eds., Khaki Capital: The Political Economy of the Military in Southeast Asia (Nordic Institute of Asian Studies, 2017); “Japan’s Post-Cold War Foreign Policy toward Indonesia,” in James D.J.
